This soap will wake you up with just one whiff! Made with goat's milk, cocoa butter, and coffee butter, it smells good enough to eat. Goat's milk contains precious skin minerals like selenium and is loaded with vitamins, particularly vitamin A, the most important vitamin for the skin. This soap is definitely a special treat for dry, irritated skin.

Coffee Butter is highly moisturizing which can helps to repair skin and slow aging skin cells. It's rich in polyphenols which helps your skin to retain moisture and softness. This butter is a blend of Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil and Coffee Seed Oil and contains between .5%-1% natural caffeine which you can absorb into your skin for an extra boost.* Learn more about your caffeine micro-dose here.

Another skin-loving source in this soap is the Cocoa Butter. It is high in fatty acids and nourishes the skin helping to improve elasticity and reduce stretch marks. It's also helpful in eliminating scars and sun spots.

This batch was more of a challenge to make due to the use of milk and lye together. Typically mixing sodium hydroxide with water can heat the water upwards of 200° F. If I were to use the same method I would wind up with scorched milk. So instead I froze the milk first and added the lye slowly. For extra cooling, I added a few ice cubes underneath my mixing bowl.

Once the milk lye is done and mixed with the oils, the batch went to the refrigerator for 24 hours. This method skips the gel process but still gives you the same amazing soap.
